These types of tile edging were common in modern designs during the 1980’s and early 90’s but are no longer popular in todays modern bathroom designs. It’s quite common to see these bullnose tiles in more traditional shower designs.

In case your trim tiles are bigger or smaller than the tiles along your edge, measure the edge of your tiled surface, then divide that number by the width of your desired trim tile. For example, the edge you’ll be trimming is 190 inches long. The trim tiles that you want are 5 inches long. 190 divided by 5 = 38 tiles.
