The kids in this movie really seem like actual awkward adolescents figuring out the game of life and how they fit in it. And some of those bullying scenes felt TOO REAL. Too bad Lucas falls into cliche at times, like the whole football sequence. And Lucas, himself, comes across as a bit of a nice guy secret jerk in some scenes.
