- To be a Christian citizen is to be a citizen who has been redeemed by Jesus, not because of anything you have done or ever could do, and not because you have voted for the right person or supported the right policies, but simply and solely because God loves you. In other words, to be a Christian citizen is to be a citizen who is Gospel-centered.

Good Christians, in sum, believe and love and hope rightly and truly. The problem is, by my own criteria, I am quite often a lousy Christian.
