Connery really does look past his best, but the rest of the cast is decent, Claus Maria Brandauer in particular, and Max von Sydow was a decent choice for Blofeld. Barbara Carrera is a lot of fun, but not quite up there with Luciana Paluzzi. Kim Basinger is at her prime and a good choice for Domino.
Personally, I'm not a huge fan of it. The only good thing about it in my opinion is having Sean Connery. I'd say he is the only thing that makes it watchable.
I'm here in support of Never Say Never Again after rewatching it the past few days. It surprises me to say, I think I've determined that it might be one of my favorite Bond films. I've always enjoyed it, but with a distinct air of shame surrounding my viewing pleasure.
