Nov 6, 2023 · Casa Rio. Casa Rio is the oldest Riverwalk restaurant. In fact, Casa Rio was the first restaurant to open on the Riverwalk in 1946. It is operated by the same family that owns Schilo’s. Casa Rio’s colorful umbrellas are the most photographed and iconic picture of the San Antonio Riverwalk.
