Feb 28, 2020 · The paper form on the inside of the hexies makes a great guide for the needle, when whipstitching. The tip of the needle goes right into the edge of the fabric, just above the paper form. It’s important to avoid piercing the paper form when piecing. Sometimes, I piece together strips of hexies.

Aug 30, 2020 · Place your hexagon paper on the wrong side of your fabric and centered on the square. Hold the paper in place while you trim the corners to make a 3/8 seam allowance. Fold the fabric firmly over the paper on one side and then fold the adjacent side over to form a mitered corner.
