Jul 12, 2024 · Millenium Park now has a new sponsor and a new name: Cowboys Park. This story also appeared in LiveWire Calgary. The 10-year sponsorship and naming agreement was announced Friday, July 5, along with the promise to host more than 100,000 visitors for national and international events and festivals.
Cowboys Park, near the Downtown West – Kerby LRT station, is well known for being home to Canada’s largest free outdoor skate park and already has other cool features like outdoor climbing boulders. More upgrades are coming in 2025 to make the park an even better community hub!
