•January 2 – Aquaman event ends.
•January 3 – Action event ends, and the New Avatars icon is also removed from the Events section.
•January 9 – The 2019 Roblox Security Breach (in which many popular games were made private by web exploiters) occurred.
•January 11 – An increase in player complaints to developers about their data suddenly being lost occurs, prompting berezaa to bring up the topic of unreliable DataStores on the Developer Forum.
•January 17 – Powers event begins. 3 new languages are introduced to Roblox, those being: Korean, Chinese (Traditional) and Chinese (Simplified).
•January 18 – A post on the Roblox blog is posted regarding the 6th Annual Bloxys event.
•February 1 – Royale High reaches 1B place visits.
•February 7 – Roblox boldens and changes the sitewide font to the Gotham font family, as well as adding a dark mode setting and the ability for users to favorite bundles.
•February 8 – Roblox announces the winners of the Rthro Design Contest and publishes the first user-created Rthro bundle, Amory the Undead Necromancer, into the marketplace.
•February 10 – Notable YouTuber PewDiePie's account "Pewdie123t32" is banned from Roblox. NestOfDragons stated privately that this ban was due to his redirection to "unsafe and inappropriate sites/channels." However, a popularized YouTuber known as Faave has stated that PewDiePie was banned because his automatically created starter place was botted by a user known as psyduckc. Faave later mentions in his video that PewDiePie was shortly unbanned after the Roblox moderation team realized that his game was not botted by PewDiePie himself.
•February 12 – The Friends chat suffers a critical bug where no players are allowed to chat.
•February 13 – An official statement is announced regarding PewDiePie's ban.
•March 4 – All games are switched to the PGS Physics Solver, replacing the legacy physics solver.
•March 5 – Roblox's front page experienced a minor bug that caused the Top Rated Games category to not appear properly. It initially was mistaken by many to be a new update but was promptly fixed later that day. Also, the newly created SocialService API is temporarily disabled due to "an unrelated CoreScript issue."
•March 7 - Roblox launches a New Api relating to premium features of the website (such as BC Cancellation). It was speculated that this will relate to the rumored membership "Roblox Premium".
•March 8 – Meepcity reaches 3 billion visits.
•March 12 – Roblox hits 1 billion users. Azoo5573 is the user to accomplish this feat. The account would later go on to get password guessed by an unknown user.
•March 13 – A bug occurs where games cannot be viewed (excluding front page games) and have to be manually searched for, and the badge configuration page is updated.[citation needed]
•April 1 – For April Fools 2019, Roblox announces the Robox, a game console, on the Roblox blog and linked to a 404 page. Also, the Roblox Games page was changed to where "Featured" was put on top, and "Popular" was put near the bottom.

•On the Developer Forum it was announced that after Egg Hunt 2019: Scrambled in Time, standard Roblox events would be replaced with a new feature named Live-Ops.

•May 1 – Roblox Developers Conference 2019 wave 1 invites are sent out.

•Roblox's Twitter account reaches 1 million followers.
•The first-time Sign-up Bonus for all forms of Builders Club is removed.

•It was announced on the Developer Forum that new game sorts for the Games page would be coming, as well as encouraging developers to suggest different types of sorts for games.
•Mid 2019 – Roblox removes off-site advertisements.
•June 1 – Roblox deprecates outlines.
•June 2 – Roblox uploads the Froggo Flaps Hat to the Catalog. This accessory was fully designed by a Roblox user on Twitter where they asked Roblox to create the accessory. Three days later it was added to the catalog.
•June 3 – The marketplace experiences technical problems and faces glitches. Many users report only clothing appearing on the catalog and Group stores flooded with non-group clothing. Packages in Roblox Studio receive an update.
•June ? – The automatic Counter message for trading is removed. It was replaced with the automatic new trade request.
•June 3 – The View feature (Inspect Menu) is added for everyone, allowing players to see what Catalog items people are wearing in-game.
•July 1 – Stranger Things 3 event officially launches.
•July 10 – Packages phase 2 goes live. Also, a glitch results in players with fully numeric names (e.g. 61352151511) not being able to log in.
•July 11 – The NoCollisionConstraint is released.
•July 12 – Asset archiving goes live, allowing developers to put a warning on their assets saying they will soon go unavailable. Four weeks later, these assets and any assets archived from then will be hidden from the website and unavailable in games. The Roblox message icon is also updated.
•July 17 – Liverpool FC event starts.
•July 18 – Stranger Things 3 event ends.
•August 1 – The bit32 library from Lua 5.2 is added.
•August 2 – It is announced on the Roblox blog that 100 million users play Roblox monthly.
•August 5 – The Emote menu is re-enabled but removed shortly after for unknown reasons.
•August 6 – Localized Game icons are implemented to allow a game's icon to appear in a different language, And the configure pages on Models, Decals, Images, Audio, Meshes, Animations and Solidmodels are once again updated this time permanently.
•August 7 – The font on the Robux purchase screen is made a lot bolder.
•August 8 – Roblox announces that Roblox Player and Studio for Microsoft Windows XP and Vista systems will no longer be supported by August 28. Users would upgrade remaining Windows XP and Vista systems to Windows 7 or later, or use Windows 7 or later systems for Roblox. Roblox Player and Studio for Windows XP and Vista support continued until August 28. Also, some Roblox employees's memberships, such as Merely, Seranok, and meow_pizza, are changed from OBC to Premium for testing purposes.
•September 2 – The Labor Day 2019 sale ends.
•September 3 – Monthly Game Stats are temporarily unavailable for developers to view.

•The first of many problematic loading issues in September start on this date. At around 11:40-11:50 PM EST, most games on the site with active servers unexpectedly shut down for an unknown reason, also preventing all users from attempting to join a game. The whole site was under maintenance, and the site came back up about 15 minutes later.
