The Brimstone Elemental has 3 phases, starting out in Phase 1, and randomly cycling through them after fully completing the attack. She cannot repeat the same phase twice in a row. Phase 3 can only be entered after she attacks 3 times. She will stay in her drifting phase for a shorter time if she takes damage or the player is too close to her.

v0nesten. • 2 yr. ago. calamity needs to be installed before creating a world in order to actually spawn its structures, like the abyss, brimstone crag, planetoids, sunken sea, and the bases/outposts. if you install calamity after world creation, you wont see those areas, though you'll still get mobs/drops from the mod. the abyss isnt like ...
So, since i'm playing the mod (about 1 month ago), i see those new brimstone elemental sprites in reddit posts, artworks and social media (mostly more art) but nobody tells where are they from, and some say they're "Upcoming".
