Currently, under The Official Time Act, daylight saving time in Manitoba begins the second Sunday in March and ends the first Sunday in November. This bill will pave the way for Manitoba to observe daylight saving time year-round, if the United States enacts similar legislation and Manitobans indicate a preference for a year-round observance of daylight saving time.
