Learn more about future AP Biology course updates. To give teachers more clarity about course content and help students engage with the concepts, we’re planning updates to the AP Biology course framework. The earliest implementation of these updates will be the 2025-26 school year.
- AP coordinators should order alternate (late-testing) exams for students who would like to take exams that are scheduled for the same time.
- Schools must begin the morning exam administration between 8 and 9 a.m. local time and the afternoon exam administration between 12 and 1 p.m. local time.
- Schools in Alaska must begin the morning exam administration between 7 and 8 a.m. local time, and the afternoon exam administration between 11 a.m. and 12 p.m.
- AP African American Studies Exam Pilot: For the 2024 AP Exam administration, only schools that are participating in the 2023-24 AP African American Studies Exam Pilot can order and administer the exam.
