Arguably THE greatest movie score ever composed, and surely one of the best, James Horner's 'Braveheart' is a stunning, beautiful and haunting piece of music. Unfortunately words fail me, (and the superlatives run out, eventually) to describe the beauty and majesty of this score.

Luckily, for "Braveheart" he chose to keep the electronic music input at bay (it will be more present in the above mentioned “Titanic”), and the London Symphony Orchestra manages to shine all through the score, giving it the proper organic sound required by the story and its place in time and space, magnificently impersonated by the ubiquitous use of bagpipes.
