There are two great places to watch trains in the village, at the train themed shelter beside the crossing on West Herrick Street, or along the north bank of the upground reservoir. Consult the map for more information on these locations.
Fall Foliage - Three weekends in October-5-6, 12-13, 19-20. The perfect way to spend an hour or two on a Saturday or Sunday in October. The train leaves our station at 1:30 P.M. The train ride goes approximately 4.5 miles north then returns to Wellington and lasts between 1 and 1 1/2 hours.
