Modders can now get config folder of mod simply using GetModConfigFolder(this); this will return full path for config folder of your mod where you can save custom config files (if you have any)

Download the main mod file (usually a .zip or .rar file) by clicking the “Manual Download” button. Step 3: Extract the Mod Loader Files. After downloading the mod go to your downloaded file location.
Download the latest release of MSCLoader from here; Unpack anywhere you want outside game folder; Open MSCPatcher.exe and click on "MSC Folder" to select game folder (in \Steam\steamapps\common\My Summer Car) MSCPatcher will detect what version of MSCLoader you have, and allow you to update.

Mod Loader Pro, to my knowledge, was a fork of MSCLoader (the first mod loader for the game, to my knowledge) that briefly popped up last year for about three months. It's abandoned now and has not received any updates for over a year (while MSCLoader is still active), so you should avoid using it; this makes it kind of complicated since a few devs developed some Pro-exclusive mods.
