- The Connecting Families Initiative (CFI) is a Government of Canada program that provides more affordable Internet services to eligible Canadians. This initiative is overseen by Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED) while Internet Service Providers (ISP) across Canada cover the costs of the discounted plans.
