Both Rogers and Virgin will provide me cable internet from fiber to the node. Rogers will provide me 500mbps unlimited for $50 and Virgin will provide me 100mbps for $40. My usage:-. Online Classes Online gaming (latency matters alot) Crypto Mining (latency matters) For me I can sacrifice 500mbps for 100mbps if the latency and uptime is better.
Unfortunately, after I got my internet set up, using the same model Homehub 2000 but Virgin branded, the internet was cutting out about five times a day, needing power cycling to get it back on. I was paying Bell $89/month and Virgin was offering there 100Gb internet for $45/month. After 12 months it will go up to $85/month which is still better than Bell even though Virgin is owned by Bell.
