Busing (Tour and School Buses) For tour and school buses, there is a passenger drop-off area on the east side of the museum. Four bus-parking spaces are available on Metcalfe Street (between Argyle Avenue and McLeod Street). You can also find parking for tour buses (free or paid) in downtown Ottawa and in Gatineau, Quebec.

Oct 11, 2024 · The museum is pleased to extend its participation in the Canoo Access Pass. This program offers new Canadian citizens and recent permanent residents free and discounted access to the museum. The Canadian Museum of Nature resides on the traditional, unceded territory of the Anishinābe Algonquin people who have stewarded this land for thousands of years.
The Academy Museum reserves the right not to allow large groups into the museum without advance reservation. We do not currently offer guided tours. Visitors are encouraged to download the free Academy Museum Digital Guide for more in-gallery information and experiences.
