Jan 16, 2024 · Beginning January 16, 2024, students can download the new TechRide app to request a ride with Raider Ride. Raider Ride is a nighttime shuttle service that provides students with on-demand rides on campus from 6pm-2:45am, 7 days a week.
Tech students ride buses in Lubbock for free and the buses make most places a reachable distance. I did splurge for Lyfts for appointments, airport travel, and grocery runs (bringing the groceries home specifically).

The maximum award is tuition for up to six hours per semester. Note: The award does notcover fees charged for the classes. It only covers tuition. No funds may be used to pay tuition for continuing education classes for which the college receives no state tax support.
