May 26, 2015 · There’s quite a difference between quoting one 25-word line from a 100,000-word novel or script and quoting twenty-five words from a 100-word poem or a 250-word song. This is one very strong reason for novelists to not quote from copyrighted songs and poems without permission—your use of lyric or poem is not likely to pass the Fair Use test.

Since the sentence is already in double quotes, you use single quotes around the song title (and any punctuation, e.g., an exclamation point, that belongs to the song title goes within those single quotes).
