A big chunk of the movie was filmed in Pinewood Studios at Pinewood Road in Iver Heath, Buckinghamshire, South East England. It’s a major movie studio featuring more than 20 stages and acres of backlot that hosted a string of blockbuster productions such as the James Bond movie franchise, “The Dark Knight,” and “Doctor Strange.”

Dark Shadows location: the site of ‘Collinwood Manor’‘Collinwood Manor’: Bourne Wood, Farnham, Surrey Although it’s set in coastal ‘Maine’, Dark Shadows was made entirely in England . Tim Burton ’s homage to the cult US TV series of the 70s (which didn’t make it to the UK) is, of course, gloriously Gothic, but doesn’t contain any surprises.
