Have been walking the ever-evolving Riverfront Park for over 40 years now and have watched the lovely evolution of landscaping, exercise stations, art and sculpture pieces, wonderful quotations embedded in plaques on rocks. Along the river it is a peaceful place to keep your body and soul fit.

Aug 2021 • Family. While visiting the Whittaker Center on a recent Saturday, we walked the several blocks to Riverfront Park to check it out. We were pleasantly surprised by the coolness of the walking paths, footbridge to City Island and the overall convenience of the park to the city. Seemed friendly, safe for walkers, joggers and bikers alike.

May 2015 • Solo. Riverfront Park is a true treasure in the city of Harrisburg. Part of the Capital Green Belt which is a loop biking and jogging trail around the city, Riverfront Park offers a lovely place for a leisurely stroll along the Susquehanna River. The park walking trail extends nearly the length of the city.
