Aug 2021 • Family. While visiting the Whittaker Center on a recent Saturday, we walked the several blocks to Riverfront Park to check it out. We were pleasantly surprised by the coolness of the walking paths, footbridge to City Island and the overall convenience of the park to the city. Seemed friendly, safe for walkers, joggers and bikers alike.

The Harrisburg Riverfront Park a great place for visitors to do many things such as watching the boats with nice river breeze, stroll along the river banks for scenery and exercise, jog or bike along the river bank. The green space along the river with no other structures such as housing or restaurants is a bold plan to get the park for visitors.

May 2015 • Solo. Riverfront Park is a true treasure in the city of Harrisburg. Part of the Capital Green Belt which is a loop biking and jogging trail around the city, Riverfront Park offers a lovely place for a leisurely stroll along the Susquehanna River. The park walking trail extends nearly the length of the city.
