   When was Winchester District Memorial Hospital opened?

   • Winchester District Memorial Hospital was officially opened on December 8, 1948. The Hon. George Challies, MPP for Grenville-Dundas and the Hon. Rusell Kelly, Ontario Minister of Health presided. Over 3,000 people attended. The hospital was opened on this date. Mr. Kelly donated a Mansfield woolen blanket to the first baby born at the hospital.
