Like all of the spots we have listed on the north end of the Golden Gate Bridge, this one is accessed via Conzelman Road.

- Moore Road Pier. Moore Road Pier is a postcard-perfect destination that holds a special place in the hearts of locals and visitors alike. Located at the bridge’s north end and stretching out into the Bay Area, this iconic landmark offers stunning panoramic views of the San Francisco skyline, the sparkling waters of the Strait, Alcatraz Island, and of course, the majestic Golden Gate Bridge. 😍
- Baker Beach. Baker Beach is a beautiful coastal gem that showcases San Francisco’s gorgeous scenery. Located on the west end of the Presidio and just south of both Fort Point National Historic Site and the Golden Gate Overlook, there are plenty of things to do in this area.
- Crissy Field. Crissy Field is a vibrant urban park on the bridge’s San Francisco side. Once a military airfield, it has since been transformed into a favorite spot that attracts visitors from around the globe. 🌎
- Crissy Park Beach. No visit to Crissy Field is complete without spending time at Crissy Park Beach! Located along the northern edge of the Presidio, this sandy beach is the perfect place to soak in the beauty of the San Francisco Bay Area and the surrounding natural landscape. 🏖️
- Marin Headlands – Hawk Hill. The Marin Headlands, part of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area, is a vast expanse of rolling hills directly north of the Golden Gate Bridge.
- Presidio – Marshall Beach. The entire coastal side of the Presidio boasts excellent views of the Golden Gate Bridge, but Marshall Beach wins because of the large rocks scattered along the beach, which are great juxtaposed against the bridge.
- Fort Point. Speaking of Fort Point, that’s my next recommended spot! The perspective will be very unique since you’ll be directly under the bridge. It’s the best way to appreciate the scale of the bridge towering above you.
- Crissy Field. The classic way to appreciate the Golden Gate Bridge if you’re a resident is with a picnic at Crissy Field. Picture this: sweeping fields of grass giving way to a solid mile of beach, all with the bridge and the ocean in the background.
Apr 15, 2024 · Catching a glimpse of the bridge as we whizz out of a tunnel still never fails to have me scrambling for my camera. The view from my old apartment had a stunning view of the Golden Gate Bridge. Yet I still take a photo everytime I pass it. Golden Gate Bridge is one of the most famous and most photographed bridges in the world for a reason.

Once a military post, it now offers a great deal of history and fantastic photo opportunities of the Golden Gate Bridge.
