  3. Dec 21, 2022 · Hawk Hill. The Best place to take picture of Golden Gate Bridge – Hawk Hill. Hawk Hill is a great location to get a full bridge shot with downtown San Francisco in the background. Like all of the spots we have listed on the north end of the Golden Gate Bridge, this one is accessed via Conzelman Road.

    • Hawk Hill. Over in Marin Headlands, this is a local favourite location to take Golden Gate Bridge pictures. You get high enough that if there’s fog you might get the bridge poking through the top.
    • Baker Beach. This is a pretty traditional spot for photography of the Golden Gate Bridge. But, the location is actually better as an epic beach hang out than it is a photo spot.
    • Golden Gate Bridge Pictures from Fort Baker. This location was surprisingly good. Across the bay from San Francisco, this park has lots of parking – which is one of the challenges of some of the other locations.
    • Battery Spencer. This is likely the most typical postcard photo of the Golden Gate Bridge. The location atop an old military battery offers nice clean views of the bridge.
    • Moore Road Pier. Moore Road Pier is a postcard-perfect destination that holds a special place in the hearts of locals and visitors alike. Located at the bridge’s north end and stretching out into the Bay Area, this iconic landmark offers stunning panoramic views of the San Francisco skyline, the sparkling waters of the Strait, Alcatraz Island, and of course, the majestic Golden Gate Bridge. 😍
    • Baker Beach. Baker Beach is a beautiful coastal gem that showcases San Francisco’s gorgeous scenery. Located on the west end of the Presidio and just south of both Fort Point National Historic Site and the Golden Gate Overlook, there are plenty of things to do in this area.
    • Crissy Field. Crissy Field is a vibrant urban park on the bridge’s San Francisco side. Once a military airfield, it has since been transformed into a favorite spot that attracts visitors from around the globe. 🌎
    • Crissy Park Beach. No visit to Crissy Field is complete without spending time at Crissy Park Beach! Located along the northern edge of the Presidio, this sandy beach is the perfect place to soak in the beauty of the San Francisco Bay Area and the surrounding natural landscape. 🏖️
