We ordered Mesano meso for two people and got a huge dish full of various kinds of grilled meat (around 1 kilo) served with vegetables and french fries. The order was served in 15, minutes which is pretty fast.

Jul 1, 2024 · A lot of restaurants in Montenegro serve grilled meat platter that includes cevapi as well. This way you can try many local goodies, however, the portion is usually for 2 or 3 people. One of the best meat platters I tried in BBQ Tanjga in Kotor.
The menu offers a variety of traditional meat dishes, such as grilled meats and goulash, which are specialties of the house. The restaurant has a rustic look which goes nicely with the traditional food and atmosphere.
Our recommendation: The Tanjga Grill is the number 1 restaurant in Kotor according to TripAdvisor despite being a ‘cheap eat’. An otherwise underwhelming greasy spoon takeaway is actually a mini mecca for deeply marinated BBQ meats of big, hearty proportions.
