Sep 22, 2024 · With winter gone, longer days, and summer approaching, spring is the perfect time to explore diverse landscapes – warm weather without the crowds. Here are my favorite spots to discover this month…. 1. Annapolis, Maryland. The quaint, laid-back capital of Maryland always charms me!
- Bridgehampton, New York. Bridgehampton, a hamlet on the south shore of Long Island, has some of the coolest yet driest May weather in New York state. The average high of 65 °F results in all but a few days with temperatures rising into the 60s or 70s.
- Bismarck, North Dakota. Bismarck is a place for people who like variety. During May it is as likely to have highs in the 80s as in the 50s. Yet pleasant temperatures are the ones most common at this capital city, with days usually peaking in the 60s or 70s.
- Berkeley, California. Across the bay from San Francisco, along the stretch from Oakland through Berkeley to Richmond, balmy weather prevails during May.
