Loads in the old Speer manual are quite over max today. Guess pistols were stronger in the old days. That's where all the accuracy was with mine with 180's in a 6" 1911.

You are probably getting away with it using LilGun because of low pressures, which is a good thing if you can get the velocity. But that bullet won’t hold up to pressures of normal full power 10mm loads.

  7. May 23, 2021 · Posted May 24, 2021. You can load lighter shooting loads (basically .40 S&W) with those fast powders but need to get a slower burn rate powder for the heavier loads. Like many people I use Longshot for most of my full power loads as it is a ball type powder that meters well in my Dillon's and gives good velocity/power.
