   If you don’t mind another vintage controller, the old Wico Command controller is the best 2600 joystick there ever was. It was made with leaf switches on the stick and buttons so they last pretty much forever.

Some other sticks that I like a lot are Gem sticks, Wico Command controllers, Quickshot Turbo sticks, The Sega Arcade power stick, and the newer AT-Games sticks are really clicky and some people might like that.

   Oct 10, 2023 · They are the 2 best controllers I've ever used for 2600 games. I play exclusively in emulation on stella these days with Ataridaptors. I got tired of modding consoles for that crisp RGB. I am going to purchase one of the new Atari 2600 consoles, because I still have a tidy 2600 cartridge collection.
