But then I stumbled upon some COM games that (according to AtariMania) were never released on cartridge: Air Support, Desmond's Dungeons, Encounter, Ghost Chaser, Zeppelin.

  3. Jun 29, 2021 · If it is a cartridge game and no header, then Atari 800 emulator will pop up asking for which "type" at boot up. If atr file then a floppy disk image and no header issues to worry about. Typically, once get into floppy and cassettes then Altirra standalone is easier to manage.

  4. Atari 400 / 800 disk vs cartridge. I am still fairly new to the atari computer scene. I have noticed some games are available in both cartridge and disk format. Karateka for example. The cartridge is more expensive so I went with the disk version.
