Dec 25, 2022 · A 1983 arcade game should not feel this immersive, nor should it be this accurate to the movie. Star Wars is a historically remarkable achievement. But, assuming Atari could work out a deal to bring this to Atari 50 as a DLC release, that ain’t going to be an option. You’ll be stuck using a normal game controller.

- Space Invaders. One of the first shooting games ever, Space Invaders' lines of lurking aliens appeared in arcades before it became the first arcade game officially licensed for a console.
- Kaboom! Activision's Kaboom! (1981) became another million seller. The game starred a mad bomber who dropped bombs, which the player caught with three buckets at the bottom of the screen.
- Combat. Combat (1976) was one of the first Atari games. It contained 27 games in one, each representing different forms of combat, but all using tanks, jets, or biplanes as vehicles with weapons capability.
- Demon Attack. Imagic—a company that started with an "I" before starting with an "I" was cool—released Demon Attack (1982) for several consoles and computers, including Commodores, TRS-80, and of course, Atari 2600.

- Tempest 2000. For most players, Alien Vs Predator would’ve been the only reason to get an Atari Jaguar. However, there’s a reason why many people call the console the “Tempest 2000 machine”.
- Alien Vs Predator. Even before the two disappointing movies, Alien Vs Predator could’ve referred to anything, be they comics, novels, or video games. There was a cult classic arcade brawler by Capcom, a less popular sidescroller on the SNES by Jorudan, and the Jaguar FPS by Rebellion Developments.
- BattleSphere. Atari is a famous name in gaming, but that’s all that’s left of the original company. It passed through multiple hands before becoming the alias for the French company Infogrames.
- Wolfenstein 3D. Id Software’s classic shooters Wolfenstein 3D and Doom have been ported to nearly everything in existence, so it’s no surprise they both ended up on the Jaguar.
