As recently as three years ago, the gap between display and search was only around 10 percentage points, but now it is 15, equating to $68.12 billion more in spending for display than for search.
Mobile advertising in 2022 reached €1.72 billion, up from €1.69 billion. Programmatic ad spending in Germany reached $12.22 billion in 2022, up from $10.51 billion in 2021 (numbers only available in USD). Share of digital advertising spending in 2022 was 62% desktop and 38% for mobile; mobile share rose 2% whilst desktop share fell -2%.
