The world is filled with wannabe inventors. People looking to get rich simply by filing an endless number of funny patents. It’s the inventor version of buying a lottery ticket, and apparently the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office seems to have no standards whatsoever. And for that, humanity can only thank them.
