May 23, 2021 · Posted May 24, 2021. You can load lighter shooting loads (basically .40 S&W) with those fast powders but need to get a slower burn rate powder for the heavier loads. Like many people I use Longshot for most of my full power loads as it is a ball type powder that meters well in my Dillon's and gives good velocity/power.

Apr 19, 2020 · This is why most shooters working with full power 10mm loads usually learn to avoid plated bullets. You are probably getting away with it using LilGun because of low pressures, which is a good thing if you can get the velocity. But that bullet won’t hold up to pressures of normal full power 10mm loads.
Jul 29, 2023 · I load exactly the same bullet. 12.5gr of AA#9 gives me 1262fps out of the 6″ barrel of my Gun Crafter 1911. Dec 31, 2018 · Here are a few of my favorites: Light recoil loads for gamer loads (this is my favorite 10mm IDPA, Steel Challenge, man-on-man, etc. load): 175 gr cast TC PC over 5.2 gr 452AA. 850 fps. That's 850 fps. I'm about out of 452AA (sniff), so I'm moving to WST. Charge weights should be similar. "10mm Light" or "FBI Load".
Sep 27, 2019 · I go through the entire process of casting, powdercoating, loading, and shooting some hard cast round nose bullets using the high quality NOE bullet mold for my 10mm handguns. I had wanted a round nose bullet for 10mm plinking loads. Something that would feed simply and flawlessly in each of my 10mm handguns and carbines. This bullet mold seems to do the trick.

You might look also at VV3N38, or VV N105, Except for certain particular loads, Alliant 2400 is probably a shade too slow for best results in 10mm.
