It is a part of the state-owned SNRT Group along with Al Aoula, Arryadia, Athaqafia, Al Maghribia, Assadissa, Aflam TV and Tamazight TV. The channel was established in November 2004, available on all digital platforms, the channel is based in Laâyoune.

The National Company of Radio and Television (Arabic: الشَرِكَة الوَطَنِيَّة لِلْإِذَاعَة وَالتَلْفَزَة, aš-šarika al-waṭaniyya li-l-ʾiḏāʿa wa-t-talfaza; French: Société nationale de radiodiffusion et de télévision, SNRT) is the public broadcaster of Morocco.
The Moroccan Government founded the Moroccan Radio and Television (RTM) on February 15, 1928, which was later renamed Radiodiffusion-Télévision Marocaine (RTM) in 1956, and later renamed in 1961 to The National Company of Radio and Television (SNRT).
Radio-Maroc was one of the founding members of the European Broadcasting Union (EBU). It was active until 1961 when it switched to associate membership. In 1969, it was readmitted as an active member.
•SNRT secured rights to broadcast ten FIFA World Cup matches, including those featuring the Moroccan national team, on 12 November 2022, and the 2023 CAF Women's Champions League on 5 November 2023.
