Azul is an abstract game about drafting and placing tiles. There are 4 versions of the game, and each brings its own magic to the table, with its own drawbacks, and I think it'll be fun to discuss them. It's reminiscent of games like Ra or For Sale. But that is only the beginning. Each tile card is a 2x2 grid of land parcels and you are allowed to overlap the tiles to cover up empty parcel spaces!

Each tile depicts two terrain types, and players score points based on the size of each terrain type and the number of crowns on the tiles.
