Even as it was filmed in 1966 the racing sequences are amazing! The movie has aged well because the cinematography is so real. Actors are actually driving their cars on actual tracks on real GP weekends (Monaco, Clermont-Ferrand, Spa, Zandvoort, Brands Hatch, Monza). They shot the movie at real GPs, and the crowds and the atmosphere are all real.
