Jul 1, 2024 · Our fishing trip included 2 grandparents and 3 grandchildren (10,12 and 14 years old). We met Captain Bob Matlock at 6am and off we went fishing. Captain Bob has 30 years of experience fishing in Port Alberni and we benefited from this. Captain Bob was a teacher and has great experience with kids.

The new album "Keeping it Real" is complete and out now containing 13 newly recorded Bobkatz tracks. Rob & Sarah are "over the Moon" about this recording. They say it beautifully reflects The Bobkatz today and in yesteryear. Garry has written or co written most of the songs with Allan Caswell co writing 4 songs including one with Rob.
Macca played the song regularly on his weekly program and in the process helped The Bobkatz gather a legion of fans across the country. Between 2005 and 2017 The Bobkatz went on to release six albums, 18 singles and 15 music videos resulting in two national number ones and numerous top 30 singles.
