   When did SFU start?

   • The Harbour Centre Campus opened in downtown Vancouver in 1989. In 2002 SFU established a third campus in Surrey on the former site of The Technical University of British Columbia (TechBC). SFU allowed students of TechBC to apply their existing course credits toward an SFU degree.
