Sep 15, 2021 · I own three AR-7 rifles, two from Charter Arms, and one from Henry. My Henry AR-7 is a very early "2 magazine model", which is somewhat different from the Charter Arms AR-7, yet VERY different from the late "3 magazine model" Henry AR-7. For the record, from what I read the original Armalite AR-7 seems to be a bit different than all of them.

The main survival guns of the time included the M-4, a .22 Hornet bolt-action made by H&R and the M-6, a .22/.410 over/under gun. Stoners’ contribution to the program was not actually the AR-7 but the AR-5.
