No one has ascended into heaven except he who descended from heaven, the Son of Man. While the statements ascended and descended within the passage present serious difficulties, reconciling ascended with Enoch and Elijah is straightforward.
May 6, 2024 · Jesus says that no one has ascended to heaven but the one who has descended. Jesus affirms that the only one who has done this is the Son of Man (a title Jesus uses often of Himself). It is noteworthy that Jesus lists the ascending before the descending.
