This award, given in recognition of Dr. Kenneth A. Arndt, was established in 2024 to recognize individuals for their commitment to training the next generation of medical professionals. Dr. Arndt joined the Society in January 1981 as a founding member and served as the ASLMS president from 1986-1987. He became an ASLMS honorary member in 2021.
