Angelo Daniel Badalamenti (March 22, 1937 – December 11, 2022) was an American composer and arranger best known for his film music, notably the scores for his acclaimed collaborations with director David Lynch, Blue Velvet (1986), the Twin Peaks television series, The Straight Story (1999), and Mulholland Drive (2001).

Dec 12, 2022 · Composer Angelo Badalamenti, best known for his haunting theme music to David Lynch's Twin Peaks, has died at the age 85. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Badalamenti died of natural causes surrounded by family at this home in New Jersey, per his niece, Frances Badalamenti.
