Peter was predeceased by his wife and best friend, Grace (2021). Father to Bill (Dianne), Bob (Diana), Doug (Jane) and Donald (Dawn).
Mar 25, 2020 · Bissonnette said JR took immense pride in the successes of his children and grandchildren, who gathered to celebrate his 85 th birthday at a family retreat in Newport, R.I. last year. Tributes also poured in from telecom executives across the country, including Shaw’s competitors who praised JR as a “true pioneer.”
