Severin is the exiled son of the Alderking. He also appears in The Darkest Part of the Forest another Holly Black book.
Severin has hair the color of autumn leaves and moss-green eyes. His horns curve from above his brow to just behind his ears. While his horns make him look fearsome, his voice is gentle.
Severin reportedly favors a mortal knight and has a mortal lover. As his father was in exile, recognition of his Court is something he would desire. He sits with his retinue, not in a fancy tent.
