  1. Apr 7, 2020 · Rupert. Stewie’s Teddy Bear may be inanimate but he’s probably the most developed character in all of Family Guy. Throughout the years, we have seen Rupert grow to be Stewie’s main confidant, sharing most of his secrets, confessions, and random conversation. He is clearly Stewie’s best friend and most consistent source of companionship.

  2. We're not talking about non-Griffin staples like Glen Quagmire, Joe Swanson, and Cleveland Brown, who are essentially part of the family and have been considered part of the main cast for years ...

    • Stewie. Even if you've never seen "Family Guy," chances are you have seen a photo or clip of Peter's youngest child Stewie Griffin at some point on the internet.
    • Peter. By his own admission, Peter Griffin is sometimes seen as a knock-off version of Homer Simpson who tries to be more gross, stupid, and lazy in every way.
    • Glenn Quagmire. Quagmire is the third and most interesting of Peter's inner circle of friends. While other characters on long-running shows often become worse over time, Quagmire seems to have improved somewhat.
    • Lois. As the mother of Chris, Meg, and Stewie, Lois is the matriarch of the Griffin household. She's also Peter's better half — most of the time. Some of the time.
    • "Back to the Pilot" (season 10, episode 5) "Back to the Pilot" is many things: a cheeky take on Back to the Future, a weird homage to Star Trek, and a spiritual sequel to "Road to the Multiverse."
    • "PTV" (season 4, episode 14) "PTV" is an early example of Family Guy embracing meta-humor to devastating effect. The episode sees Peter reacting to new FCC censorship mandates by launching his own television network (the titular PTV).
    • "Da Boom" (season 2, episode 3) It's easy to forget how old Family Guy really is until you return to early episodes like "Da Boom." Here, Peter is warned about how Y2K will be the end of the world as we know it, and in typical fashion for his character, he forces the family to wear hazmat suits and hide out in the basement.
    • "Road to the Multiverse" (season 8, episode 1) Long before Marvel took over the concept, "Road to the Multiverse" gave us a plot involving Stewie and Brian visiting alternate universes before realizing they can't go back home.
    • DEATH IS A BITCH (S. 2, E. 6) Death comes to take Peter away after he lists himself as deceased in order to avoid paying medical bills, but Death ends up trapped with the Griffins after he sprains his ankle.
    • NORTH BY NORTH QUAHOG (S. 4, E. 1) In an attempt to rekindle the spark in their marriage, Peter and Lois go on a second honeymoon. A snag in the plans causes them to become tangled up with Mel Gibson.
    • WHEN YOU WISH UPON A WEINSTEIN (S. 3, E. 22) After the Griffin’s savings are rescued by a Jewish accountant, Peter attempts to get Chris converted to Judaism so that he’ll be better at math.
    • DA BOOM (S. 2, E. 3) Peter makes his family prepare for the inevitable disaster of Y2K. When the worst actually happens, the Griffins take it upon themselves to start rebuilding society.
  3. Agreed, and it seems they've been trying to include him more as well. He's been a major part of two Season 20 episodes, one of the last Season 19 episodes, and according to the Family Guy Wiki, he'll be a big part of this week's episode as well.
