In October of last year, Noemi’s and my nephew, Stefanos, was diagnosed with stage 4 Neuroblastoma at only 10 months old. As a result of the cancer spreading to his liver, bones, bone marrow and skull, Stefanos underwent 8 months of treatment and now he will have surgery to remove his adrenal gland and potentially one of his kidneys.
