Yasuharu Takanashi (高梨 康治, Takanashi Yasuharu, born April 13, 1963) is a prolific Japanese composer and arranger for anime and video game series. His anime composition credits include Naruto Shippuden , Fairy Tail , Log Horizon , Shiki , Hell Girl , and Record of Ragnarok .
I did some digging and found that Yasuharu Takanashi, who worked on Fairy Tail's music, also worked on Sailor Moon and Naruto Shippuden. His music is diverse and creative and I find his versatility quite impressive!
The composer of the Log Horizon soundtrack is Yasuharu Takanashi, who also composed the OST for Fairy Tail and Hell Girl, among others. NHK’s Log Horizon anime blog had a tiny picture of some of the music sheets in a stack.
Yasuharu is a representative of the musical group Team-MAX and also the leader of the Japanese instrumental rock group yaiba. He has received a JASRAC international award in 2013, 2014 and 2017.
The series is produced by C2C and directed by Shinji Ishihira, with Takahiro Nagano writing and supervising the scripts, Atsuki Saitō designing the characters and serving as chief animation director, and Yasuharu Takanashi composing the music.
Takanashi Yasuharu is a composer born April 13, 1963 in Tokyo, Japan. He started his musical career playing keyboard in the bands Helen and Musashi. He was also a member of J.D.K.BAND and composed music for Falcom games in the early 90s, before turning to anime songs at the end of the 90s.
