Yes, absolutely. My undergrad school's reputation has helped me every step of my journey. Not so much for prestige as for being known for rigorous math coursework. And what I learned in my calculus classes there provided me with a good enough foundation for success in real analysis at another school.
After 10 years away, I want to finish my degree (~30 credits left). Is it better to A.) finish ASAP, even if it means returning to the crappy for-profit school I got most of my credits from **or** B.) go to a more reputable online school, even if it extends my study time by several semesters?

Originally enrolled as a Mechanical Engineering undergrad but failed pretty bad (horrible decisions as an 18-19 yr old with freedom) and got removed out of the program so I did undergrad in Mechanical Engineering Technology (4yr bachelor's degree).
