    May 5, 2012 · Over the years, I've played more than a dozen of his guitars, and own one of his 00 cutaways in LS redwood over Panamanian rosewood, an exhaustive review of which (with pics) can be found here. I agree with those who recommend Bashkin (and Baranik) guitars as prime examples of the 'contemporary' sound with great sustain, overtones, separation and overall tonal richness.
